The Night Sky Timelapse
This timelapse captures the slow movement of the night sky as the Orion constellation - with the Orion Nebula glowing through - drifting across the frame. I shot thousands of 4-second long exposure images throughout the night, edited each RAW frame in Lightroom, and then compiled them into a single smooth sequence. As the stars moved above, low cloud cover rolled in and out of frame, sometimes dominating the scene, sometimes revealing the night sky in bursts. The result is a blend of clarity and obscurity - a reminder that even in stargazing, nature has its own rhythm. Unexpected, moody, and still one of my favourite captures to date.
Cloud Motion Timelapse
This timelapse was created to showcase how clouds form, shift, and roll out across the sky - a subtle kind of motion that’s easy to miss in real time. I captured hundreds of RAW images over the course of the day, then batch edited them to my liking before compiling everything into a single sequence using Premiere Pro. The result reveals just how alive the sky really is - with clouds building, breaking, and flowing like waves. It’s a calm, hypnotic watch, and one of those projects where simplicity tells the story.
Saudade by the Sea
This video isn’t about flashy cinematography or high-end gear - it’s about proving that creativity always comes first. Although I have all the professional equipment I need to create cinematic, movie-quality visuals, this piece was filmed entirely on my iPhone. It simply proves that storytelling, mood, and emotion matter more than the gear in your hands.
The beach has always been my place to feel - a space where I can process thoughts, reflect quietly, and let go. This video captures that mood: walking the shoreline, skipping rocks, sitting with a drink, fading into the background.
There’s a certain saudade in it - that quiet longing for something undefined, a mix of memory, absence, and presence all at once. It’s simple, personal, and stripped back - and that’s the point. You don’t need expensive tools to create something that speaks. Sometimes, all it takes is a feeling and the will to express it.
