Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question? Here are some of the things people often ask about my work, process, and creative approach. To make things easier, I’ve organised the most common questions into their own sections - photography, graphic design, videography - so you can quickly find what you’re looking for. If you still can’t find the answer, please feel free to reach out - I’m happy to help and always transparent!
Photography Questions
-
My photography isn’t available for free use or redistribution. However, if you’d like to share one of my images, videos, or designs, please make sure my watermark remains fully visible - DO NOT CROP IT OUT - and that you tag or mention @liamoxoart clearly in your caption or post. Proper credit is essential.
Work that’s been commissioned, purchased, or captured during an arranged shoot is fine to use as agreed. Anything outside of that - such as content from my website or social media - shouldn’t be reposted or used without full credit and a visible watermark. If you’re ever unsure, just reach out first, I’m always open to chat about it.

As much as I understand how much people want the RAW images my camera captures, I don’t release them under any circumstance. The RAW files are unfinished and represent only a part of the creative process. My editing, colour work, and finishing touches are what transform those files into the final images that reflect my style and quality.
When you book or commission me, you’re investing in that finished, professional result - not just the unedited files. You’ll always receive the best, fully edited versions of every shot.
-
Of course you can, absolutely! I’m always open to hearing your ideas and preferences. If there’s a particular style, tone, or mood you’re after, let me know before or during the shoot so I can capture things with that in mind.
That said, every image I create is edited in my own signature style - it’s what gives my work its unique look and consistency. I’ll always do my best to blend your vision with mine, but the final edit will stay true to the creative direction that defines my work.
-
Turnaround time can vary depending on the size and style of the shoot, but I always aim to deliver the finished photos as quickly as possible without compromising quality.
For most sessions, you’ll receive your fully edited images within 1-2 weeks. Larger projects or events may take a little longer, especially if there’s extensive editing involved. I’ll always keep you updated throughout the process so you know exactly when to expect your final gallery. -
All final photos and exports are delivered as high-resolution JPEG files, fully edited and ready for use - perfect for both digital sharing and high-quality printing.
If you need specific sizes or formats for a project (for example, web-optimised files or transparent PNGs for design use), just let me know when we start the project and I can provide them alongside the standard JPEGs.
-
As much as I love editing and bringing out the details in photos, I don’t edit images that I haven’t personally taken - including ones downloaded from the web or provided by someone else.
Editing another person’s photo can make it appear as though I own or created the original image, and copyright plays a huge part in that. Every photo I share or work on is entirely my own - from capture to edit - so I can stand behind it 100%.
If you like my editing style, I’d be more than happy to plan a shoot where I can capture and edit everything myself. That way, you’ll get the same look and quality while keeping everything original and authentic.
-
This is a question I get a lot! As a freelancer, every photo I create takes time, planning, and passion - from capturing the shot to editing it into something I’m proud to share. That said, I don’t offer free photos or edits, as each piece of work represents the time and effort that goes into my craft.
Graphic Design Questions
-
All sorts! I work across a variety of creative design projects - from logos, branding, posters, and cover art to digital illustrations and social media visuals. Everything I design is made to reflect personality, purpose, and visual impact.
Whether it’s something bold and modern or detailed and artistic, I approach each project with the same focus on originality and craft. If you have an idea or concept in mind, feel free to reach out! I’m always open to bringing creative visions to life.
-
I don’t edit or alter existing logos or artwork that were created by someone else. Modifying another designer’s work would breach copyright and take away from the originality of the piece.
If you’d like a refreshed or modernised version of your logo or design, I’m more than happy to create a brand new version from scratch - inspired by your current style but completely original and legally yours to use. This approach keeps everything authentic, professional, and 100% unique to you.
-
I don’t share W.I.P files. They’re part of my creative workflow - full of rough layers, experimental edits, and unfinished details that aren’t meant to represent the final product.
As a freelancer, my process and editing structure are a big part of what makes my work unique, so I keep those files private. Once the project is complete, you’ll receive the fully finished and polished versions exactly as they’re meant to be seen.
-
All final logo designs are delivered in high-quality, ready to use formats so you can easily apply them across digital and print. You’ll receive:
PNG - transparent background, perfect for online use.
JPEG - high-resolution version for general purposes.
If you need a vector format (like SVG or PDF) for large-scale printing or branding, that can be created upon request - just let me know before final delivery.
Editable source files (such as .AI or .PSD) aren’t included unless previously agreed upon, as they’re part of my working process.
-
I use Adobe Photoshop 2025 to create my logos and graphics - it’s where I feel most comfortable and creative. The workflow in Photoshop is really ergonomic for me personally, and it allows for a lot of flexibility when designing detailed or artistic pieces.
For projects that need vector files, I use Adobe Illustrator 2025 (vectors are designs built from scalable shapes and paths rather than pixels, which means they can be resized infinitely without losing quality).
-
I don’t have a strict limit on revisions - the goal is always to make sure you’re happy with the final design before we sign everything off.
Every project is different, so I focus on open communication and collaboration throughout the process. I’ll share updates, listen to your feedback, and refine the design until it feels right. It’s all about finding that perfect balance between your vision and my creative input.

The simple answer is, no. I don’t use AI to create logos or graphics. I’m personally against AI generation for design work because it can unintentionally use or replicate parts of genuine, hard worked creations made by real designers.
AI doesn’t own the artwork it produces, and neither does the person who prompted it, which creates a grey area both legally and ethically. It may be incredibly quick at generating images, but it completely strips away the personal and creative touch that graphic designers like myself put into every project.
Every logo or graphic I create is built entirely from scratch to ensure it’s 100% original, authentic, and legally safe to use.
That said, if you’ve created something yourself using AI and want me to develop or recreate a similar idea based on that, I’m happy to use your AI-generated concept purely as inspiration - while still designing the final piece completely by hand.
